The pickup location will load and I will unload. The springs, tanks and separators don't need to be covered. If it's too much trouble I can wait on the stuff. I will buy more stuff anyways.
Open deck with tarp is fine. Maybe 2500lbs plus a 100lb box at Chris's place. I buy too much stuff. I think it's an AC kit, few big fuel separators, one or two self sealing fuel tanks, pallet of air dryers, pallet of bobber springs and a box of some odd stuff. I just ran a full 53ft truck back...
Guys paid too much for them with no title. Now they are popping up on the open market as buyers are trying to get out of them once they realize they can't register them. It's going to tank the market for the previously owned, legally titled humvees.
Our trucks have separate governors. Alot of newer vehicles have the air governor built into the dryer. Very popular on motor homes. The connections are different but im sure it could be converted. I just sold 100 of those cartridges on the cheap.
A power converter will work nicely. 24v dc to 12v dc. You will need a big fuse, power cables and a large relay to control the converter on and off also.
If you have verified air coming into the valve body. You can open it and try to individually test the solenoids. I could see some moisture getting into the unit and sitting for a period of time and being stuck. The whole assembly can be carefully taken apart. When you remove the 3 valves...
It should do an initial pressure check as soon as the switch on the air tank tells the system that you are up to 120psi. It will send some air out from the valve body. This may be had to hear with the truck running though.
Full pressure. System needs 120 psi to start and will cut out if air goes down past a certain point. The copper coiled line on the firewall by the governor is the valve body air feed there is the little catch trap inline though. The valve body consists of 3 solenoid valves and one pressure...
Check the connection where the harness meets the plug for the pressure sensor. On the top of the valve body. Thats a problem are also. It gets alot of flex there.
