The old pedal works fine, the new pedal is centered differently...I compared them one day and found IIRC, the radious is different as well as where the pedal itself is, in the holes are all the same.
well, if your not trying to be an a**hole, I would hate to see it when you try....but I for one will not provide you any further intput on this topic or any other moving forward. You come here asking questions and you want to dictate the answers? Good luck with your Bubba work....
Do all you want to the motor, it won't make a difference till you get a 4th gear. This truck was not made for commuting and interstate driving, it was designed for a combination of both, with an emphasis on payload. These truck were meant for convoy speeds. So a 4L80E or 700r4 is "IMO" the best...
Once again, any Good trans shop can test the trans while in truck. If the trans was just rebuilt, call the rebuilder.
even if the TPS or TOSS were bad, the trans would be in limp mode, would not affect what you are stating.
when you say you have to push the pedal to the floor, I'm assuming you...
Revocation was exactly what I was and continue to be worried about, I've been saying all along that the more you poke the bear, it's eventually going to bite back. I've had hmmwv's titled since 2001... still own some of them.
IMO, the MVPA needs to step in and start working these issues on a...
you don't need the lip, early trucks didn't do it, nor did the H1's, my 98 was cut at the factory and no lip...while it looks better, not sure it's needed.
It's should be throwing codes if the pressures are out of whack...you will have to check codes via the diag port on the TCM, that will require the cable, if you don't have a cable, you need to tap into the TCM, a good trans guy should have a scanX 2000 to simulate The TCM.
The only difference is cutting the body around the engine bay to open it up to clear the left and right exhaust manifold.
The rest of it "assuming you do a factory OEM conversion" is the same.....if your going to hack and whack...your on your own, I don't do this conversion unless, or others for...
If I place a mild turbo with less than 10 pounds of boost and water injection, what is the best shift kit or after market modification I can place on the transmission that will improve shifting in a city environment? Should I keep the stock torque converter?
There are Turbo kits out there...
all TSU's "Yes, TSU, not GPC" are backwards compatible....I use KDS and Nartron TSU's on any EESS, regardless of Mfg with no issues. The S3 specifically states that's it backwards compatible with earlier TSU's.
If folks really want to make sure there wheel don't fall off, I suggest buying BlueHummers locking spindle nut setup.ive installed many and they are a must. But the price is quite high, like 80.00 per wheel.
jsut for those who want piece of mind....
You have to clean it all off, run it and see where the source is. But having seen this god knows how many times "last week" it was the spindle output seal.
the upper input seal is not wet, meaning it's not constantly submersed like the output seal, they just seep or stay damp, once the lower...
I have purchased all my hmmwv's from Barstow/ yermo, I was getting very very nice trucks from there, just stayed away from the Tan trucks as they all came from NTC. The last few buys have been rough to say the least.
yesterday going over a new arrival, I found it has a brand new GEP 6.5...
Jwade, what your New Role?
And yes, you will be missed, I know you were instrumental in working on an issue I had and the outcome was fair.
I like companies that step up in the customer service arena, being a private business owner myself, I know full well that
the customer service and...
