    Jolt when Shifting from stop

Sorry, I just assumed you knew or know of the Technical manuals. My bad...all the info you need is in the TM's. I can't stress enough to learn to read them...they are a wealth of knowledge. The Manual numbers have a meaning, the -10 is an operators manual, this is not specific to the HMMWV, it's...

m998 200 AMP generator upgrade installed but is not charging

Did you run the large 1/0 positive cable from the generator to the battery box positive stud?

    Starter Question, MFY-6714UT

Looks correct, there are different mfg's of these starters. There are only 3 wires and they are kinda fool proof. 1/2in positive, 3/8 negative, the excite wire goes on that plastic bar. All the other wires come from the ste/ice harness of you were wondering.

No Low Beams - Only High Beams

The floor dimmer switch is 3 screws, I would start there...most likely the issue.

    200 amp alternator nut size

you might want to post some pics up of what you have....I've done this conversion a lot and never had any issues.

    200 amp alternator nut size

You need a 200amp gen mount for the 200amp generator, the long bolt is 7/16 fine thread or course thread. nothing is required to be ground down, it's plug and play, I assume you have the install instructions provided in the 200amp install kit? You don't reuse any of the hardware from the 60amp...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Even with a bad fuel pump, the injector pump will draw from the tank, problem is that it really strains the pump and pretty much guarantees early failure. In my case, I has very very low fluid flow upon bleeding after a filter change, put in a new pump and night and day difference.

AFAIC, ANY govt vehicle Being auctioned or sold "MUST" have an SF97 issued by the selling agency. never heard of an electronic copy, those are NEVER acceptable at DMV's. An SF97 is "United states Govt certificate to obtain title to a Vehicle" that's what's printed on the top of the form. While I...

Maybe I'm losing it, but I don't think I've ever had an SF-97 with my name on it, that's what the reassignment form is for. the SF97's I've always had, even from GL show going from DLA to GSA,GL or GP.

GP can't get titles till the SF97 is genrerated, that only happens after EUC clears, GP submits the SF97 to DMV to get the titles.....this has nothing to do with GP, it has everything to do with how DLA does business. Its really out of GP's hands...they are at the Mercy of DMV just like you and...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Back on topic now....installed a new injector pump into the military police HMMWV, runs perfect now. prior to this it was idling rough and would die when cold if revved...I spent more time going through the rest of the truck then I did putting in a new pump. But I did find a very weak fuel pump.

    200 Amp Alternator 14v tap

That 14v tap is run to the positive post on the rear battery for a factory 4L80E equipped truck with TCM. just leave the ground strap off...it needs a load to produce voltage anyway.

i know nothing about your states laws, but I'm not sure why your DMV would not take the SF97 with the reassignment form. Have you checked with other mil truck owners on this site from your state about that?...just curious. I have to assume many folks from your state have purchased vehicles from...

    HMMWV Wisconsin to Texas

I will never use a broker again, the last one I used lied through there teeth at every turn, was the absolute worst company I ever dealt with, I now only use private carriers direct, they have more skin in the game and aren't being screwed and lied to by the same broker...there is not enough...

    HMMWV Power Steering Cooler Fitting

Every one of the GP trucks needs new hoses, especially the PS hoses...I've had 10 of them so far and everyone one of them has had brittle lines, loose clamps etc, I have had fuel leaks as well. So now I replace pretty much everything rubber. i had a Cadillac valve hose fail from the PS pump...

    taboo to talk

DLA sells them to GP.....GP sells to whomever. That's why there is the reassignment form for the issued SF97. amgen has nothing to do with this either, they are only the mfg....and no longer make the H1. The end of production on the H1 was due to federal compliance and crash safety tests, AMG...

    Oil pan

I've done no less then 50 rear main seals and Never once used a gasket...the factory doesn't, so neither do I. I always use a new oil pan, clean the **** out of all surfaces, black RTV and "always" let it sit for 24hrs prior to oil and running again. I also always replace the rear pan seal and...
