The problem I have with this photo is that in all the years "and this photo has been around for many many years" I have never heard mention who owns it or built it, it's the only photo of it....just makes me wonder if it's a photo shop job.
I would really want to see some up close photos of how...
Never seen one in 30years....but the trucks listed all have bumpers.
FWIW, the bumper is a safety factor to me, also is I get rear ended, I don't have to replace my fenders and D- beam at minimum. fender damage will happen even if you back into something due to the lack of rear vision easily...
this truck already had it installed...from the factory, it's not a conversion.
but I do 4L80, 242 conversions all the time....but I only do factory/OEM equipment.
so, with that in mind, expect it to set you back 15-20k if done by a shop.
now, some people are going wow, or even BS! Well, half...
Installed new front winch springs on my M1097A2, also swapped over to 4 new BFG's on 24 bolt rims, changed fluids in geared hubs and diffs, replaced PS pump, replaced stuck open thermostat, added Milemarker winch, installed brush guard, replaced heater/blower Assy and installed NOS seat bases...
Did this issue arise after adding any of the abov parts?
as far as 200amp comversion...you just need the gen and the conversion kit.
its a simple upgrade...the kits are all over epay.
NP...but give it a try, it's just paint, and it's cheap....practice on cardboard.
really, you will never go back to a brush or rattle can again....I promise you.
Not much fuel comes from a single IJ line, it does not gush out, the pressure is at the other end of the IJ nozzle.
the pumps normally have to come out to be tested, but at my standadyne shop, the price to test is the same as buying
a rebuilt pump, with the old pump being used as a core for the...
its an 8hr job...the intake manifold has to come off, so you need new intake gaskets, new injector pump gasket.
the IJ lines come off as well. Remove the oil fill tube to access the 3 bolts that hold the pump to the timing gear.
carefull not to loose the bolts into the engine, rotate the crank...
Ok, I was right....I just varified, 12342953-1 fuel return "at fuel tank"
12342953-2 fuel pump "at fuel filter inlet"
12342953-3 fuel supply. "At fuel tank"
the 2 at the fuel tank are inline with the hard lines from the tank and transition to the
frame rail hard lines...
Yeah...that's weird. Here is something a lot of folks don't know. If you look in the newer TM's, you will see a check valve at the fuel filter inlet, part number 12342953-2. I also have a check valve on my fuel tank lines, both the fuel feed and the drain back line. These were done at the...
thats a civilian motor thing....if the OPS failed, it killed the electric lift pump. That won't be the case here as it is all mechanical.
i would replace IJ pump.....your pump is a 24v pump. I luckily have a standadyne shop not far from my shop, so I just give them the old pump and they give me...
the standard front spring is a 954Lb Spring, the next up is the 1250lb Spring and then 1728lb, also referred to as a winch spring.
springs are also identified by a colored tie wrap, in the case of my M1097A2, my fronts have a yellow tie wrap, that denotes to a 954lb spring, which I find odd cuz...
