Jeeeze...thank you Ted....just buy the harness from kascar, no fuss, all done.
i used to make mine, while maybe at 1/2 the cost...but my time is worth more then the 40.00 I saved.
is that port on the back of the cab for the intercom? Or is it 24v and ground for a beacon?
i have a spkr in my cab mounted on the dash, no wires to it, but I did find a disconnected connector behind the cab
that I think is for the intercom to the troops, I haven't followed it very far, it...
No It's on right...the rear curtain has more rubber tension rope then the front...plus, the folds on the sides overlap so that forward moment and wind will travel over the fold and not get underneath it.
i got it right the first try...
this is is a newer style top I believe...the bows are...
its clear you have an ax to grind with GP....take it up with them ok? Either offer up constructive posts or don't bother.
those of us who have been here know of your GP issues....
If you don't know what your doing...don't bid and buy. GP Does not have a monopoly, all you Newbs are in the game due to GP winning...key word here, "winning" the rolling stock contract from DLA and getting HMMWV's up for sale.
Prior to GP, GL had the contract for as long as I've been in the...
Halfshaft failure is more due to the HS bolts backing out of the diff flange holding the HS and brake rotor on the diff.
this will eff your day up when it happens...it will take out the HS, caliper, brake yoke, brake lines and even damage the
diff internally....this can all be prevented if you...
i have seen the armature break on the Bendix gear or the shouldered cup on the bendix seperate from the gear...either way, they are not hard to repair, you will have more in labor then parts. but I wouldn't spend more then 150.00-175 for a rebuild, you can get NOS starters on Flee bay for 250.00
I dont think it's sinking in for you....ANY and I mean ANY missing parts on a NON-RUNNING truck should raise your
suspicions about the truck being used for cannibalizing for other unit trucks.
I watched it happen for 20yrs...it's SOP. We did it with trucks and even more with our old UH-1H...
I can't over stress sticking with AC Delco parts on the balancer...I change these all the time. The quality of the Dorman and other MFG's compared to the AC Delco is inferior, but this is a visual comparison....so I can't make any statements that one works better then the other. But an ounce of...
There is no comparison between GL and GP IMHO, GL just plain sucked as far as listings were concerned on rolling stock...you got what ever you got! There was no warranty....I have personally used the iron clad warranty to my satisfaction. IP has its issues, but I find there people are/have been...
Don't kid yourself....I have had no less then 2 bottles and 3 washer bottles fail from them.
never got an ounce of help from them...I just don't buy wolfer crap.
