When it has fuel though (and charged batteries -lol), it starts very easily.

Tanks to red! Injection pump had lost its prime and there seems to be a blockage of some sort in the tank pickup line (unless in the replaced lines from the fuel filter to the tank, air is still getting in - yes, orings replaced on the tank selector). It pulls fuel from the filter just fine...

In summary, I think the the front most rear driver's side tire may still rub a little as it was obviously the worst offender (visible by all the little rubber particles strewn all over). It was a lot of work as these G177's are HEAVY! Worth it? Absolutely! Changes I'd make if I were to do...

Driver's side close ups: Here you can see that the front most rear axle on the driver's side has been rubbing even past the bolt head, on the trunnion cap.

When installing the plates I realized I made a logical error. Previously, in Post #17 you can see me measuring the outside lugs to see if there was room for 1/4" plate. The thread left on those outer most lugs do not change. It's the lugs actually pressed into the drum that matter. :doh: These...

Interesting. Is that just from the bulb getting so hot? I'm having trouble seeing how it'd melt as wouldn't the stock headlight have melted its wires too? It's all a very similar connection setup.

I am not very good at this. Thanks guys. Batteries were indeed weak. Only 12V each. The solargizer on them just isn't enough. Battery chargers in place! :roll:

For anyone who may care here, here's a quick photo diary of my install. After taking a rock to one head light, I replaced both headlights with He.lla H4 24V 100/90W (HLA-H83140041) bulbs, adapted a Doorman 9003 socket, with rubber shell connectors from Erik's, to fit the stock wiring harness...
