Took the solenoid to the starter shop to be tested. Yes it is shot. The coil does not retract the plunger. Ordered a new replacement for $76.02. Should arrive on Thursday.

The starter manual I have for this starter only shows 1 coil. They call it a switch coil. I will have the generator shop test the solenoid anyway.
