The 8 indicates that it has 8 cylinders and the 92 indicates that it is 92 cubic inches per cylinder...so the motor is 736 cubic inches. As STALWART said, the motor is big. It puts out 450 HP.
I suggest going with the older 4 color MERDC camo. You almost never see CUCVs still in this scheme. Everyone and their brother has a solid green, tan or camo CUCV. Make yours different from the masses.
It might have had 73 original miles...but it is a 26 year old Chevy ambulance! That is crazy money. I could see that price IF you could not find nice M1010s, but they are out there. I'd rather have the truck the guy above described as being nice with 7K miles. I bet he is asking reasonable...

Kenny is right (as usual!). The M1028s were never intended for troop seats, although there is nothing stopping you from installing them since the beds are identical to those on the M1008s. The M1028s have the heavier rear suspension for hauling shelters around.
