I would verify the turbocharger is not seized before I got into the ip. Can you hear it? -

The USMC trucks all have factory fording kits and with that comes the air cleaner housing bottom drain delete cap. If for some reason the mushroom rain cap gets lost, the air cleaner fills with rain water and eventually runs into the engine. -

Had to tear it down!!
Pull it and rebuild. Too messed up for an in frame. Stuck rings etc. -

Power comes from the feed to the brake light switch. -

While you install the new harness, run a new wire from the steering column area to all four lamp-units. Obtain a flasher handle, harness, and module from a later model truck. Match up the 461 etc numbers. -

That is the van that is permanently attached to a M1079. Ladder is a two man lift to place on the back of van. -

Huh? The C7 did come and still comes in the FMTVs. The SD Brazos has a Cummins engine which as we know might just be a better engine than the C7. -

Welcome. I would say the 3/4 ton is twice as desirable and valuable as the 1/2 ton. The bodies look similar, but I cannot say if they are the same towards the rear.- NDT

Those came out of MRAPs. Uncle was big time liquidating all the Iraq leftovers about 5 years ago, that is when those were sold. Nowadays there are some on ebay, search mrap seat. -

4 years on a lead acid 6TL is as good as it gets. Those things are awful. Get some Hawkers AGMs and put them on a defibrillator and you will have much better results.- NDT

Sounding REAL good now! Did you not read the comment about you having THE ULTIMATE deuce? Looking at maybe $300 of parts to get the front winch operational. Rear about the same with some diligent horse trading around. I would not let that truck go for love or money. -

FMTV dash dimmer lights inop, what to check first?
Are you calling the 3 lever switch the "dimmer"? There is a separate knob that dims the instruments, just making sure you figured that out before advising ripping open the dash. -
