MT4 is on the "floor" behind the gauge panel in the front right corner.

If you have a multimeter check to see if you have about 24 volts DC at the slave connector. Center is Positive, outer is Negative. This is to verify you have the batteries cabled up correctly. Or a test light will do too.

The 10xx fuel level sensors are different from the 80x versions. The 10xx sensors are a 3 wire sensor. Ground, power and a DC voltage output proportional to the fuel level. 0.5 volts for empty and 4.5 volts for full as I recall. Replacements were available on ebay. I've bought both versions...
