When we operate helos in cold like that everything gets heated if there isn't hanger space or when at an FOB.
All helos in theater are already prepped for it.
All gearboxes, engine and hydraulic tanks, battery's and space heater(s) inside cabin.
Even with all that, when it's super cold...
Looks like the tag bracket is unsupported on that one side.
Two bolts through the cargo tie down and nothing the other side.
If you pull that trailer enough, even that small amount of unsupported weight will cause metal fatigue towards the supported side.
Not to mention it will bounce as your...
Sounds like either transmission was either too full or too hot.
If it was the latter, then the rest of the fluid is toast and needs changed asap.
Time for a transmission cooler.
Perfect!
Thank you
Thank you Guy for posting that.
Have sourced all the parts I need for the door to be complete.
Interior is finished with all new wiring and lights and floor.
Shelter is sealed up tight now. They left all the bolt holes open to elements.
Had a few holes in roof that are...

specs
They also sell direct to public the exact same thing.
If you have the $$ all you have to do is call them.
No waiting and searching for an auction.
Luckily interior is still green as already mentioned.
Truck looks good.
Sand color blends in snow better than green LOL.
Highly recommend replacement of stock alternator as soon as you can.
Factory one is known to fry itself and zapping other components with it.
The correct GM throttle cable is almost impossible to find.
Many on here have had issues with the aftermarket cables not fitting correctly.
Either tweak it as mentioned or go to a salvage yard for a used one.
Keep looking for a NOS GM one.
Their out there. I found some and bought three a...
Are they still MIA?
With all the eyes this site has, I wonder if they're been spotted recently or if anyone knows if they were scrapped.
If they still exist where are they?
Hmmm
I bet your right about DRMO.
Didnt even think about that.
Now it all makes sense because I've seen first hand how they treat equipment. Not spray paint, but other ways.
I do stand Corrected
RRAD has thousands of vehicles.
Usually they have a general location of whatever their looking for.
Your right.
It could take a day or even several in that huge place.
Look it it up on google earth.
They have trucks and equipment stuffed everywhere!
Was just at Texarkana last week.
Pickup is 9-2
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
No pickups on Thursday and Friday.
Unless something's changed.
That lot is too busy for only one day a week pickup.
Call GP Rep Evan.
Ok
But Ive never seen a GL truck painted like that. If they did I stand corrected.
Ironically the longer GP sells surplus equipment the larger the spray pattern.
Just my observation.
Saw a picture a while back that showed dozens of ROPS (Roll Over Protection System) cabs on pallets sitting in a field.
They were complete and ready for the upgrade install.
Did they ever get installed or did they sell them or ???
Not crazy about the block cab but would like the interior...
Proof?
um...their selling it and its in their usual format.
The point is not the spray paint.
Just how big and where their doing it now.
If no one else cares that's fine.
I just think GP can do better
Look up those M1008s coming up soon for auction.
See the entire length of bed spray painted?
Tell me that's not lazy and unprofessional and unnecessary.
Exact same info could, and use to be, confined to a windshield or bumper or some other small area.
collectibility is irrelevant.
