Rarely do I see a 8.3L engine with the Cummins Blue logo plate still attached.
Silicone still stuck where it was. Clearly it doesn't work.
If yours is still attached, it will eventually fall off.
Mine was gone too and I bought a correct NOS Cummins logo on eBay.
They are hard to find. They...
Stay away from fram!
They are NOT the filter they were years ago.
They have been known to disintegrate internally and suck up the filter material into the engine oil passages.
Wix and Baldwin are the best filters out there.
I use Wix exclusively on all my on road vehicles. Baldwins on...
Helicopters for "Public Safety/Public Use" are much less regulated than a standard civilian operation.
Legally, if you fly PS aircraft, like a police or fire dept, you don't even need a pilots license. Yes it's true.
All departments and agencies do require a license of course, but some Indian...
Redneck trailer parts.
Also carry Dexter trailer parts.
Very heavy in the trailer business.
Should have everything you need.
Quick search will find your link.
A whole lot better than wood. Might fade a bit, but that will take a while.
Mine sit under shade. That's all.
But I use mine a lot so they are in the sun a great deal.
At least they don't bake in the sun and not move an inch for years anymore.
I have a ISSPRO voltmeter
Also have a VDO tachometer right next to VM.
Didnt like the look of the VDO VM so I went with the ISSPRO.
Purely personal preference.
Either is an excellent gauge.
Hooks right up.
I spliced mine with the factory plug from the old voltmeter.
Used same light bulb wire
Works perfect.
Been flawless ever since.
GM should have used a 24v meter to begin with.
Of course I'm talking about 24v.
12v are a dime a dozen and can be found in your sleep.
The good starter shops have 24v starters for these. I found several like I already mentioned with not a lot of effort.
Was also referring to a cucv junktruck or junk yard. Not civy

Your not looking very hard.
Search is your friend.
Found several starter supply houses that have them.
One as expensive as hillbilly.
Rest of them cheaper.
You could always remove one off a junk yard truck and have it rebuilt if you can't find what your looking for.
The standard military 24v gauge will work. Just adapt it using the stock plug.
24v is supplied to the stock 12v voltmeter. A resistor on the back makes it work.
You will have an extremely hard time finding a new stock cucv one. If you do it will be expensive.
Used ones show up on eBay from...
Trying to replace all the missing items from the shelter door.
Door itself is straight and seals are great, just parts missing.
Pics online do not show much of the doors. Especially inside view
Could you guys please post pics of the inside and outside or your shelter door?
S-280 model only...
Having the original starter rebuilt is always the best option if you still have it.
I bought one of their alternators and sent it back because it wasn't what was advertised. (China)
Recommend some more searching online.
Hillbilly is way overpriced on that starter.
Its been a while, but my...
Bought brand new CTIS ECU. (Controller)
Thats the last part to replace since the original 60A alternator fried it and PCB and ABS module.
Already replaced the other items with brand new ones.
The 100A Delco-Remy Alternator I have now is worth every cent!!
