So far nothing found
Hole is at least 1" maybe 1 1/4"
Small rubber flap on inside of door to prevent someone seeing in, is still there.
Shes rough, but still sturdy
Rep called today (Saturday)
apologize for the delay
said that since he is at base most of time and that the base runs cell phone jammers, he missed a lot of calls.
Answered all questions
All is well now.
Since its a shelter it didn't dawn on me to think about a TM.
Will do that.
The manufacturers will not talk to me.
In their minds all parts are classified.
They think they are building a nuclear sub or something.
My S-280 Shelter that I recently won has everything-----except the door peephole.
Must have souvenir for someone.
Since this part is probably impossible to find.
Need ideas as what to use.
Hole is too big for a regular house front door type.
Could make a plate for each end I guess...
I'm wondering why you would let it get that low to begin with.
If it's leaking as bad as it looks, then it needs checked daily if it's driven.
Your lucky it's still working at all.
I would also go to car wash and crawl under a bit and wash as much as you can off.
Maybe you'll luck out and...
Just take driveshaft to a drivetrain shop and have it retubed and balanced.
Easy.
New u-joints too
That way you know what you have.
Salvage you're just guessing
Happened in Johnson City, MO also.
Didn't matter about my pickup appointment. He wasn't there.
Didn't answer phone either.
Only when someone at the facility called, he answered.
Now this BS.....

The Texarkana GP site rep never answers his phone or returns messages.
The phone number was verified by GP CS.
Trying to find location of trailer I bought.
Sale page says New Boston, TX
GP CS say Texarkana.
Big difference.
Been trying now for 2 days to contact site rep.
Always get VM...

Do you run 1 or 2 block heaters?
I know you said drivers side center plug.
Read in old threads that others way up North install two. One on each side.
No clue what kind of weather you get there or if two block heaters isn't necessary.
I have only one since it doesn't get that cold...
Looks great!
The 130A one he offered for sale was a Mitsubishi brand.
Wanted to stay with all USA parts on truck (minus Garmin).
And didn't need all that power.
Great thing......I can add it later if I add extra lights, etc.
Anythings gotta be better than the original one.
I went with the genuine Delco-Remy 100A brushless Alternator.
Also bought the correct factory Cummins Alternator bracket for a clean install.
Almost went with the 130A model he has but was overkill since I'm not running any accessories besides a Garmin Dash Recorder.
The original alternator...
What was the gauge of the wire?
Standard battery cable?
If not, did you use crimp terminals or copper lugs?
Ordering new setup from 74M35A2 and want to have everything ready as possible.
