Wow! That is a nice looking machine.
Amazing what a little paint will do when all the nuts and bolts and hoses are "adjusted" to make her look and work like new again.
.
Right you are WillWagner !
It really is amazing how a leak at the front of the motor will show itself at the back.
The fan and then rolling down the road at 50 has a way of pushing oil away from the leak. :)
.
Looks like you have plenty of "reach" with that boom too! Maybe not for super heavy lifting, but getting up and away from things sure is a big plus. I really like the remote idea. Being able to walk over and hook up to whatever you are lifting has to be incredibly nice. My M936 is nice...

Sooo... Hopefully you took Brutus out for a spin around the block? New battery box looks great. Nothing like a little green paint and a few hours turning wrenches! I like the rest stop. I have a pair of chairs beside the building. Works really well. A little work, a little rest while...

Maybe that gizmo in the battery box would do better if that wire was straightened out.
That curly shape slows down the electrons so much that they fall out and off the wire. :)
A lot like when the Token Ring network was "beaconing" because a wire got (almost) kicked out of the wall.

Would think most of the newer trucks would already have them installed.
My M1088 had them when I got it. Never knew they existed when I got my M936.
I thought I had seen a home built version with a wooden box on the floor to keep from scuffing the finish. That was appealing to me. I...
Hi Russ,
I recently saw a thread on that. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/seeking-cab-rifle-mount-part.202288/
Also saw references to ePay and Eastern Equipment.

No Mace... Hate to say it, but I think that would have been better that what happened.
About 6:30 this evening, I am finally starting to see a sliver of light through that eye.
Definite Bummer.
.
Thanks for all the pics! I had grand intentions... Not sure exactly what it was that stung me around the eye and face. Decided that maybe driving to Denton with one eye swollen shut dragging a trailer might be a bad idea. No depth perception on a little two lane road just might not have...
Are these available as individual pieces and not in kit form?
Maybe as a part number I can order?
Or maybe the proper name?
Picture with 4 of them is shown below.

Celticlady , I was typing so fast that my fingers got confused.
Awesomeness , Thanks for confirming it.
I was thrilled when I searched for "convoy" and found the connector.
Having the right thing to search for is the most difficult part of ALL the tools that we have available.
.
I did nothing to verify, but the parts spreadsheet from Awesomeness has these numbers:

I am not certain that he still has some, but Suprman had Solar Powered 24v chargers that attach to the NATO plug.
May be worth checking in with him... I bought two and they work really well!

Hot Dog!!
I was the FIRST thumbs up on your YouTube video going over the specs
Very Cool.
It is really interesting that your truck lift capacity is about the same as the M936.
Actually your specs are MORE than the hydraulics on the M936.
Very cool to see that it has boom jacks and...
.
That's a bummer.
Maybe after you solve whatever kept you away - possibly we could could meet up with my van and your pickup truck. Maybe half way to pick up the goodies that you had gathered for me. Those big green trunks would be light along with the shackles, tanks and other parts...
