Good luck. You will find the internal parts somewhat hard to find and very expensive. I have a good used piston if you need it. It is from a LD, but I think they are the same, need to check the 34-P.
Its a long shot but verify that no coolant got into the muffler and is now boiling off. Had that happen on a car once after a repair and I almost tore the engine back apart for nothing.

You just need to tap the u-joint at the pto to get it to separate from the pto shaft. Tap one side then spin it around and tap the other. Soak in WD40 first.

Yup, Case M4K. Case still supports this unit, even though they are getting old. They are designed to stuff and unstuff ISO containers. I want one but they always sell for upwards of $3000 here.
