Yes the Bostrom is a great seat and mounts with out anything other than checking the underneath the cab before you drill. You can use just big washers or to make it even better two flat bar stock between two of the bolts to grip more steel.
I have too many of the Hemtt seats but no way to ship...
The run away is caused by the operator of a multifuel not checking the fuel control under the shut down cover. Even if it is free and working good it should be a once a year check on it moving free. The truck was running correct last year and I went to start it and it ran away what do I do. You...
It's just a little spring and a piece of rubber. If you don't over think it then that slight pressure the OP heard means the input and output seals are holding good. Also when the axle cools the truck would be shut off and not moving so no dust.
Now I could ask the OP when you checked the rear...
Myself I just check the fuel control on a truck I do not know. But the up grade is synflex line so IF I was to worry about a quick fuel kill then just run the synflex to the firewall and have a valve down by your foot or there abouts and the valve/leaver in the cab. Easy and quick no pissing in...
Ron remember the vent is made to hold maybe 1 pound of pressure in the axle so yes they do that with the stock set up vent when working correct. Now if it was a lot of pressure than yes the vent is not working as it should.
The HEMTT are heavy canvas and OD in color. Flat four bolt base will mount flat but need to make a channel up no problem.
Bostrom Baha black was the replacement for the 20 tons. Bostrom would run you about $500 from a dealer and they are made to order if you could not find one sitting some...
I drift the other way and the small increase of the price for something from NAPA the is a good lube plus cetane increaser is in every tank of mine. My GMC 3500 Duramax does not move without this.http://stanadyneadditives.com/
As said above pyro and you should have a 200lb fuel pressure gage. I myself would not go over 200lbs as stock is about 175lbs. You can hook it to the upper port for the test and buy dropping the button and adjusting the center throttel shaft screw you will get a increase of performance.
I have plenty of new Hemtt air ride seats and only $250.00 at the show. They will fit just about any truck. I have plenty of M939 mufflers at $150.00 and NOS springer seats compleat with frame work for $85.00. Speak now or loose out.
You said no vents on the brake pot is what I posted about and there is as you said on the relay. All I meant is they vent somehow and fast. Yes wedge don't carry as much air but the have to vent.
