We are not allowed to bring pets, but if you have a horse, that is okay. I treated my horses like pets when I was a kid. It is easier to get horse **** off your shoes than dog ****.
Even wreckers don't like towing wreckers. They are heavy and only want to go in a straignt line and tend to not want to stop. Doing any of the above mentioned things with a deuce is asking for trouble. Always use the same size or larger truck for a tow vehicle. Use tow bars and chains and air...
A friend brought his deuce into the shop last week. His complaint was that since he went running around in deep mud, his brakes stick intermittenly. I tested the brakes and found that they do work. I removed all the wheesl and found mud inside the wheels. That the rear brakes were worn to the...

Any vehicle with a GVWR of 26001 LBS Needs to have a CDL to drive it. Any truck with Air brakes needs the endorcement for air brakes. You can't get an AIR BRAKE endorcement on a passenger class license. You need to have a CDL first. It can't be any more plain than that. All you nitwits that...
Of course you want one.... The best toy for any collector isa wrecker. Unfortunately, I now belong to the" used to have " club. If my health would alow it, I would get another one.
The Military Transportation Association on North Jersey has a train Engine and a box car. Owned and restored by the club. Personally, I don't care much for trains. I live right next to train tracks and it is a busy commuter line, with a double set of tracks so it is a bigger nusance than I am...
You're dreaming. You have to change the whole hub, brake drums andthen buy the budd wheels. Stick with the dayton hubs. You can get tubless rims and tires cheaper that going through all the expense of changing over.
Welcome from Jersey, Go for the five tons. Duces are okay but you won't be really happy until you get a five ton so skip the deuce and jump right in. Ps Pa is loaded with collectors and sellers as well so you are in good company
That tent doesn't blow away with wind. I lost mine due to excess snow load. When it busted, it broke at the connections. If you need any canvas sections, I saved all the sections. The vynl seemed to hold up better than the canvas sections.I had to scrap all the frame pieces.Too bad, but they...

We had a fiveton in the shop this year. The axel failed like your deuce. however it was caused by the balls coming out of the yoke. When that happened, it lodged in between the yoke and the axel housing itself. We were trying to get it back to the shop when the thing froze completely and blew...

Yes, It sounds like a fuel filter problem. Change the filters and make sure the primary filter isn't filled with water. I think you can cancel an air leak in the system cause a 250 won't even start with air in the system. If you can get it ideling, then I would look at the filters.

I've had all my vehicles insured with Condon and Slelley here in NJ. I have been telling evey one I know to try them as well.Everyone I sent there said they were refused coverage. I called Condon/skelley today and spoke to a lady about that. I also told her I had purchased an newer 5 Ton M54...
I found the vin # on the trans tunnel. drivers side between the gas pedal and the drivers seat. You night have to move the fuel and breather lines and then feel for it. It's under a clip that holds the lines to the side of the tunnel. This was for an a2 There is also a tag on the trans itself...
