Yes. The government just doesn't want you using offroad diesel because it's taxed less. I would be hesitant to use anything that makes your filters look red. If ATF does that, don't use it. I don't see why it's a huge debate. Just use road diesel and make your truck happy.

I wouldn't be worried about the EUC thing. If you find a nice truck for the right price, I'd go for it even with the EUC. I gambled on my truck and I didn't know anything about GL or what I was getting myself into. I didn't preview the truck, have someone look at it, or anything of that nature...

How much oil do you have? Would your cost saving running any of the oil really save you that much money in diesel? Seems like a risk I would not be willing to take unless I really had to.

Why would you not need a title? You need a title to get the truck registered. Be very careful about buying a truck without a title. I would honestly tell the seller to get the facts straightened out. It's not your problem. There are a lot of these trucks around and this isn't the only chance you...
