Every now and again i get access to new veggitable oil and new motor oil. Is there any issues mixing the 2 and thinning with diesel? ive heard of problems with used oil but wasnt sure if the same applied to new oil. Thanks.
Okay ive done some research about the deuce stalling out at lower rpms, but 2 days ago i started having the oppisite problem.
When i get it around 2200 rpms it seems like its losing fuel and stalls out. I had a similar issue 4-5 months back and it turned out i had a small leak in one of my fuel...
Has anyone ever tried creosote oil in an engine? Multifuel or otherwise? was doing some research on it and was kind of intrigued.
Not to be confused with solid creosote (like in your chimney) but the light oil made from distilling it.
There are 2 types of creosote oil. Wood tar creosote (what...
Planning on taking the truck on a fishing trip to Quemado lake, at the end of june (weekend of the 29th). any S.S. members are welcome to come by and have a drink.
a guy in town makes biodiesel, was just wondering how it would work in thinning out wmo?
also if i already have been running waste motor oil will it give me any issues with the biodiesel?
was looking around for the inner and outer rear axle seal for my deuce, and i came across a set that specified for 2.5 ton rockwell axles. will these work? it wasnt specific to the m35a2 so i wasnt sure. i dont want to post a link, as it against the rules.
so i got an extra 300 dollars, and id like to put some of it towards my deuce. ive already replaced all the filters changed the oil. added a new lift pump.
right now nothing is "needed" just wanted. lol.
help me out here what would you add towards your truck in my place?
well i was playing around on saturday (i know never good) and i came up with something. i was heating some old margarine with popcorn oil and some bacon grease . after it had gotten warm i started pouring in some filtered WMO. i mixed in it around half and half i filtered it all down in a 1...
as the title said i just wanna say thanks! thanks to everyone who's shared info on this site. every time i run into an issue, i just run a quick google search. and 99% of the time ive found my answer. my **** heater was giving me issues. at first it was just the motor. well pulled it. rebuilt...
i dont know if this has been done before. i seached the forum and did a google search to no avail. just got done changing the oil and filters on my m35a2 and was getting ready to do the fuel filters. after doing some research i found out that most peoples lift pumps arent working. so after...
allright another dumb question. did a lot of searching on charcoal lighter fluid, its basically petroleum distillates. has a similar flash point to diesel. is there any reason (aside from price) that i couldn't burn some in the deuce with my wmo?
i have access to some used motor oil thats been contaminated with methanol. its from a buddie of mines race car. no idea why they add the methanol. but he was very addiment on warning me about it. will this be ok for the deuce once filtered?
