I contacted Lock-N-Stitch about my block and their reply was to remove the engine and braze on a new ear and redrill the hole.There is a company called Lock-N-Stitch their specalty is repairing cast iron. They make kits you can buy for do it your self cast iron repair

I contacted them too and sent pictures but got no reply , haha , I discovered the other hole is elongated and the flywheel is worn bad from grinding , I'm wondering if it would b more cost effective just to find a good engine , I'm not sure the problem wouldnt resurface again if by some miricale I was able to perform the repair correctly and get every thing centered correctly - input welcomeI contacted Lock-N-Stitch about my block and their reply was to remove the engine and braze on a new ear and redrill the hole.
How big of a problem is the water pumping in a different direction ?The ip is almost identical. The Hmmwv uses a 24v shutoff. The Cucv is 12v. Just the cover needs to be changed out.
