i learned today that even though a switch checks out working... it may still be the problem. I checked the switch and it was operating properly according to the tester. Once i replaced it my brake lights worked.

i drive mine to school and back. about 30 miles each way... i fill up 2x a month. its actually pretty rediculous how well the truck does. I have a 4inch lift and 37s. I definitely will say... if there is a head wind you're screwed cuz these trucks are aerodynamic like a billboard.

hf is harbor freight. I have removed and remounted mine a few times for various reasons and did not need a special tool. use a phillips head to unscrew everything and then the clips can be carefully wiggled with the help of a flat head. all mine are intact as well. good luck

i drove my cucv from Bridgeport CT to Utica NY and back. Also bridgeport CT to Rausch Creek in PA. Also did CT to Aberdeen. All trips were without incident and not to shabby in regards to comfort. I agree its kinda nice to see the world and look around when you don't have to worry about...
