I have a new unused M35A3 wheel that needs an o ring and the nuts to bolt it together, 5 metal bows, 2 uprights/corners, a nice medium duty towbar with adapters and axle clamps if anyone is interested. I might not be able to get out there till Saturday morning due to an overtime spot I took...
Funny, I just broke out my Camp dirt bag shirt today and wore it. I have a Grand Canyon trip planned sometime in October, gotta check the dates with the wife. I am MV less right now but still might try to make it with my jeep.
Bringing up an old thread to show my poor mans version of a crankcase filter. I get alot of blow by fumes in the cab while driving unless I have the windshield open to force the fumes out and fresh air in, plus after I shut the truck down the oil drips out of the vent tube and leaves an oil...
I have a new in box m35a2 cab cover for $175. Its tan but can be painted with household paint to match. Shipping will probably be about $20 via fed ex.
I have one 365/80 R20 MPT continental tire on my truck with 3 14.5 R20's. Its the same diameter but a little wider. The tires came with the rims and I have a set of matching 395's waiting to go on when I get some time.
Lengthened my driveshaft 11", cut 36" off frame and 36" section out of the bed. Driveshaft was $125 to get done, $150 for the springs and perches, got almost $200 back from the left over scrap metal (last summer).
Could it be when the governor kicks in for the air compressor that the noise happens? If so, mine does it too and I think its normal when there an actual load on the air compressor. Its oiled by the engine oil.
Heres my setup. Harbor freight hoist with a harbor freight 3K electric winch mounted on it, I think it cost me about $150 total. The heaviest thing I have lifted was a 55 gallon drum of new ATF. The winch needed a little help from me as it neared the top but it did the job. A taller hoist would...
The tranny is pretty heavy, I would guess about 300 lbs. If you dont plan on taking off the flywheel for resurfacing or changing the rear main then it doesnt matter if you unbolt the adapter. I would recommend unbolting the adapter plate just in case you find your flywheel needs resurfacing. A...
If you have a little extra money ,($80.00), an electric hoist from harbor freight makes it an easy one man job. A couple of 2x4's throught the windshields and out the back window make a solid lifting platform.
