Simple. Get some C chanel or 2X12's long enough to go under the front wheels and extend all the way back under the rear wheels. Strap her in and hang on.
But hay I pulled a M944A1 (33,000) with a deuce (12,000) not sure you want to listen to me. Oh yea I pulled my M725 on a trailer behing...
IT"S ALIVE................IT"S ALIVE
Got new batteries installed and hit the switch. CLICK, click, click and then turned over about twice and was running. Power steering hose is leaking and not much throttle from the peddle. Not sure what is going on there.
There is an air leak where an air...
Not sure I have ever seen a bobbed deuce with the tandem axle setup left.
Might be interesting to watch the build. I think that if the rear axle has a long enough slip yoke and does not hit the frame / cross member it would work.
It's on the too do list. I was working on trying to start and ran out of day light.
There is a front moving through this morning so depending on the weather, PIC's are coming.
I would have had PIC's but my wifes camera battery was dead. I did not have enough sence to change out the battery with the spare that was in the bag. SHE TOLD ME ABOUT THE EXTRA BATTERY WHEN SHE GOT HOME.
When we left the base the ruts on the service road was making the 33,000 pound truck move side to side. That is when I let Charlie, my neighbor, steer the truck. On the First turn at the red light after leaving the base the truck started pushing me straight while I wanted to turn left. PUCKER...
Well I took on the task of a M944A1 recover for reb87 from Ft. Hood. The pic’s on GL showed drivers fender damage. The GL guy said that they used a forklift to unload and we assumed the damage was caused by that. I get there and discover the damage was from a front end wreck. Kind of looks...
Anybody know the size of the fitting on the 3 way block on the rear axel?
I have a wheel cylender leaking and don't have time to fix it as I have a recovery on Monday. I was thinking of just removing the brake line from the block and putting a plug in as a temp fix. The vehicle I am going to...
Now this F***ing sucks..........
Will 3 bolts hold the turbo on?
I used the torch to hear the manifold and I thought the stud was turning
and then snap. Drilled it but was a little of and the ease out snaped the manifold.
I cut a 50' cable into 12 cables. I found 2/0 automotive terminals and got a hammer set from the welding store to put the ends on. I could see using a 50’ cable once in 5years or so. I have another 50’ that I was thinking about cutting. The 50’ cable is heavy and a pain.
When copper prices...
Pull the mushroom out as far as it will go. Open the side panal and tilt the mushroom about 45 degrees and it will come off the rest of the way and come out of the side panal.
None of my clamps are tight and one is rusted stuck.
I have a frame out back, FMTV or LMTV I can get some pic's or measurements.
I might could use another top.
I am using another frame on my truck, not sure what it is off of.
It uses 1 x 3 squsre tubing legs into the troop seat pockets and the same tubing
as bows. Curved on the corners and a...
I think it is best that the Mod’s be the ones to delete posts after replies.
On another board a member got his feelings hurt and deleted years worth of posts that
had a lot of really good information that everyone could use.
Well it is a stud but only half a stud.
I am looking for ideas on the best way to get it out.
Should have used the heat wrench on the nut like I had planed.
