Are the tie rod/ends different than the M998 vs the 1123? I need a set for my truck and didn't know if they were designated as 10k, 12k or were the same.
I was thinking these are it. Thanks.

You probably have but new fuel filter and strainer and cut out the check valves in the supply and return lines under the truck, right side in front of the fuel tank. You'll need a foot each of 1/4" and 3/8" ID fuel line. A good diesel fuel additive/cleaner is always a good idea as well.
Good information. Thank you. Here is a electrical question I have wondered about...... I'm putting 27v through the #17 and #18 connectors in the headlight bucket... Whether it's the Osram bulbs or LED's can they handle that voltage?? or is 27v simply killing the cheaper sealed beams? Trying not...
Ok... Sand papered and wire brushed all the grounds. Checked continuity from ground wire 91 from the left headlight to pin E in the hood harness. Continuity is good.
Unplugged the left headlight, started the truck and turned the lights on to check voltage at the plugins in the headlight bucket...
Want to replace the data plate for the temp/defroster/fan. Before I start yanking on things, how do the knobs come off the push/pull shafts? Did a search, but came up empty. Thanks
I'll have to drive it again and pay attention as to where it is or if it changes at all. Right I think it's all the time, but I'll focus on various driving conditions.
It's not the fan engaging... I know what that sound is. This is a whining sound. Not a serpentine belt sound, either. Slightly higher frequency sound. The Cadillac valve is working OK... Like CAMO said it may be making a high frequency/ultrasonic sound that insulating may help dampen.
I have a 2000 M1123 with the built in PS reservoir, not the remote. The PS level is right on the cold mark in the morning. It seems whine noticeable.. Almost obnoxious. Maybe it will go away with time or should I open the PS cap and turn the wheels left and right to see if there is any air...
