how would that be accomplished? Iv tried the injector pump tweaks, turning the star wheel, but didnt seem to do anything, so i turned it back to the position it was.
I could sure some extra umpf in mine, esp when i start using it as logging unit.
Kinda what mine looks like. Same me, non powered side even leaks lucas oil stabe out and that stuff is like molasses.
The only thing that bothers me is, no clear tear down or reassemble instructions in the winch tm or the tck tm. The winch tm says to refer to the tck tm, which doesnt say the...
Might just be corroded at the sleeve. If you can spray some penetrating oil on the sleeve and motor output or winch input shaft, let it sit for a couple hrs, you might be able to work it off.
Maybe try prying on the adapter at the winch side, using a 6” pry bar.
Copy. When i asked for size, i was talking about its palletized or rolled up size.
When i was in artillery, we used 4 hexes and 3 diamonds. We would roll it up, then fold it it till it was pretty much centered, wrap it with the cover bag. 4 of us would lift onto the eng deck of the m109, then...
@Mullaney im assuming the 60x40 is in inches correct? If so, that’ll fit in the bed, along with the jackhammers. I can put it on my trailer of course, but it much lower than a tck bed or van floor. But it would be much easier to offload than disconnecting from my trailer and butting both...
I can head down the houston way on friday and grab the items for the both of you and head that way. It’ll be sat mid morning, depending how long it take to get loaded and pull in to the camden area and drop off since its just off my travel route.
Will that work for the both of you?
How big are the pieces? Put in an 8’ tck bed or must go on trailer? Weight?
There is another SS member that might have an item to be picked up in houston, going to willmington area. If so, id be willing to swing through the southern part of la and grab another item since id be in that area to...
I am heading out from Temple, Tx. to Camp Lejuene, Nc. with an empty 12,000# GVW, 9000# load capacity, 20’ bumper pull. I am willing to haul up to 9000# of cargo, as long as there is a way to load and offload the cargo.
Cost will be for fuel only from pickup to drop off location and willing to...
The A2 yes, the A1, is like the 809 series axles, or at least that is my understanding from reading the tm when i replaced my seals and converted from grease packed bearings, to oil bath.
Havent put it out on the road enough to get the axles warmed up enough to see if they pop and leak oil over...
Its the same as what wes posted on my query on winch manuals.
I just wish the maint manuals actually explained the teardown and instal better than it does.
I think that is the same seal i need. I attempted to service with lucas oil stabilizer and danged if that thick stuff didnt leak out, im guessing till it go below the bad spot in seal.
I did look in the winch tm for disassembly and it references the tck tm and tck says winch. Someone forgot to...
We use copper in high heat areas, like spark plugs cyl jug studs and nuts, cyl head temp probes and other high heat areas. Nickel base is used in non high heat areas such rotor head/blade hardware, xmsn hardware that doesnt require oil.
If we run out of nickel, we sub with copper, but not the...
@Norinco666 that is what i got 936s for, a log loader and eventually tow my wide cut bandsaw to the customer instead of paying a haul fee to/from the mill, I can just mill on site for them
