Had the opportunity to go through her in Oregon while I was up there. I was ready to head for home when Dave/HellonwheelsV100 blithely mentioned "You know the Goose is only a short distance from here in the Evergreen Museum...."

Here's one in service that shows why the lights need to be moved. Interestingly, the S-788 I just picked up for my trailer has the lights mounted on the back of the shelter, so I didn't need to try to find the light relocation kit.

At Big Bend, a lot depends on what week/weekend you go. Last time I was down there, we were tripping over people for the first two days, on the third day we were suddenly about the only ones around, lasted for the rest of the time we were there.

I quit voting in these a while back because I dislike having to choose between so many outstanding vehicles, and because I didn't like the way some people played. But I have to get in this one, out of loyalty to a buddy, and also the sympathy thing on the boogered foot!

Back in the barnstorming days, they commonly built structures on the airfields specifically for the aeroplanes to fly into. They were, obviously, built of very light weight materials rather tenuously held together.
The planes were often destroyed too, and a few pilots due to miscalculation...
