I tested 2 ea. hmmwv type Tach's, and the one with the buss bar connection works with the tach drive on back of motor.
The one with the round connector did not work with tach drive.
It needs to be wired up to an alternator wire.
Feet hole pattern different and don't line up.
The bar has 3 spacers welded on where the 3 attach points are.
Just drill the holes and be done with it.
Most people here that keep these trucks military use parts from all different year Hmmwv's, so none are purists.
I did meet a guy once....Once, that wanted his truck as a 1985.
As suggested before....Need a mod/hot rod section for the Hmmwv .
There is 8 ea. spots on floor for factory tie downs...and 2 of them are between front seats [ through B pillar ] for 2 man bulkhead, and other accessories.
You need serpentine belt system....leave the V belt system on that old 6.2
Standard A2 body harness uses same headlight harness.
A2 Ecv harness park and B.O .lights take the 2 small harnesses Action was talking about.
You need a turbo eng. harness...6.5 NA type won't work.
