That looks a very tidy installation.
All the trucks that are in Europe seen to come with a cab heater installed. The one in the M45 530C fire truck is the 'Biz'..It has two fans and is more than adequate no matter the outside temperature. It is a water heater. (Huge).

The M54A2 truck is strong capable, and quite usable if maintained and serviced to the schedule.
I have had my "mobile (Army!) home" some 14 years now. Steady cruise 55 low R.P.M.s (Large tires on made up (wider) Wheels. And returns a good 17+ M.P.G. on 'contam'. The power steering is excellent...
