By TC do you mean torque converter? And what's different about the a2 pedal?
Also when it's all hooked up, and I press on the pedal, the lights come on, but when I release they turn off but then come back on. It takes some willing to make the lights turn off. Would an a2 pedal solve this?
Installed my A2 brake pedal switch today but the stroke of the pedal doesn't activate the switch. It appears that the switch only activates when it's half way through its total stroke but the actual pedal doesn't ever make it this far.
I'm not sure what to do about this besides shortening the...
So if I have a post '97 4l80, can the old cooling lines be modified to (at least) reach the new plug locations?
Both the 3l80 and 4l80 fittings look similar, but are they the same?
If not, are there adapters that exist?
And the 4l80e that I have does not appear to be quick connect, the plugs...
I was scrolling through google and I saw the image below. Whoever has that vehicle has used all three grooves in the 200 amp pulley. This leaves only one to drive the power steering?
I've only put two on mine, and I don't see any problems, but I do have the a/c driven tachometer and it seems it...
Has anyone ever mounted a s-788 shelter in a m101a3 trailer? I know the s-250 ones fit, but I am looking for a little more space, and I found a website that is selling new s-788 for cheaper than the s-250. Plus the s-788 seems to weigh less (manufacturer website says s-250 weighs excess of...
I have two TCMs and I can't find anything about either one, can anyone identify what specific humvee model and transmission they were meant to go with?
The data plate pictures are grouped together below, green tcm first then tan tcm second.
I looked at the TMs and their diagram with all the labeled connections doesn't include the numbered wires. I also looked on Google and there are a couple full diagrams for the harness's but they appear to be for either the old ambulances or a1 vehicles.
Anyone know where to get the A2 wire...
That's interesting cause my heater does produce nuclear heat. Used it great during 20 degree weather. Of course the defrost and heater don't work until the engines up to temp.
I just put on a 4 man soft top and I was wondering if anyone knew of where to get a h1 bed cover (preferably locking). I've only seen one on epay and it's 1500 and has the pillars. I don't need the pillars, but are there any other brands that aren't expensive? Or should I just make one myself
So I was reading the mile marker installation manual for the humvee and it says that once all the wiring is in place that the controller is plugged into the connector right below the heater controls. But I checked the pins and they don't even remotely line up. Does this mean that connector is...
The guy said it was used to feed the rpm to a transmission. The posting for the item said 92-93, but he couldn't confirm that. As far as I can tell at the moment the output signal is a/c, but what kind of wave I don't know yet.
I was wondering what the difference was, electrical-wise, between the two. I've seen the two on epay and they appear to be mounted in a similar case, but I would like to know if the computers inside are identical.
I am using the hummer h1 oil pump drive rpm sensor to feed my 4l80 with the...
I came across a post a while back about using a frag 5 door gaskets and modifying them and an x door to make them work together. From what the post said, it worked pretty well in weatherproofing a humvee. Since my only weather related issue lies solely in the leakage around my door seals, I want...
1. What is the little square radiator at the bottom of the radiator stack? Pics below
2. Just installed a new alternator, after I got the bracket in, I am pretty sure I tensioned the pump as much as I can. When the RPMs are above 2000, there is the squeaking sound of slipping belts. And when...
Yep. Except now the belts are apparently too short, but I can't take the belts off because there's a hose connected to the fan hub and the belts won't stretch either. So I am forced to disassemble the fan hub to take the shorter v belts off. I can't believe what a stupid desigb this is, one...
I'll update the main post with pics. I took a couple pictures of the pulley flat against the alternator, and with the pulley properly aligned with the other pulleys.
