Hmmm...here is a "laundry trailer", which has the 10KW set mounted. I didn't look closely at it, but you are probably correct.
The trailer is now parked in Eureka, Nevada, perhaps Mike Pop can take a look....
Having looked thru the TM 5-6115-275-12 and -25P (SF-10-MD/MEP-018A) and found no further reference to this heater, can somebody shed some light here, please....
Welcome to the site!
IMHO, we should have a separate section for Tatra vehicles and it has been suggested, so Mike (our resident programmer) has it on his "to do list". :-)
"Green" these days is associated with "environmentally friendly" and may be confusing.
Don't know about the "G" numbers, not used on any of the data tags I have or TM's, I like the "M" numbers.
Here is a good one, driving the rods at an angle, so that they can be pulled out by a vehicle....
Also, since the sections are connected with threaded couplings, use a pipe wrench to unscrew at least the top section if they can't be pulled out as one piece...
(not my ideas)
Having read up on...
RE: Re: rod
I have "planted" a number of them (commercial ones) here in my part of the world and they would be a bear to pull out. Mostly clay, rocks, tree roots etc here, probably a good idea to keep several sets of rods on hand when going on a trip where the genset will be expected to be...
Re: rod
I'm looking for the original set. The generator is mobile and may be used around the house or in Florida for all I know.
Thanks for responding, good to know that they are to be found.
Makes me wonder about an extraction tool, was there one, besides the crane, that is?
After my mishap with rust flakes in the fuel I have started to look into just that and there are filters/cartridges that will accept a dougnut shaped magnet for catching magnetic particles.
Used oil may contain non magnetic particles though. Somebody should run an analysis of it after it's...
.....and Gary Berg (polverone) will get you these....
The plain "steelsoldiers.com" decal has universal appeal, without any kind of slogan. I requested the "What me worry" part after all the help I received along the cross country trip and thought it was appropriate. :-)
I will need one for the...
Re: RE: LDT question
You are probably looking at the intake manifold heater igniter (spark plug)....
With good batteries, your MF should start without aids down to about 10°F.
There are other cold start engines, like the Lister engine, which has an adjustable compression ratio, very high up...
The wood stove I had was very small and with 6" flue pipe cost less than $125 IIRC (it goes back 10 years and both the tent and wood stove are long gone). The tent has special ports to handle the hot flue pipe, but you probably knew that already.
They are designed to protect the wiring, so if you have the same gauge wiring, the fusable links will be the same.
You may want to check the PS magazine section for articles like this one...
I like, what I call a Point of Load (POL) regulator. It is a regulator, which is designed for particular load ranges and used where needed.
I have one for the CB, which can handle 3 amps max. If one was needed for another load, spot light or whatever, a different regulator would be used for that...
