There is plenty to read on the net about fuses, breakers and fusible links.
To protect your wiring, use fusible links in critical areas, use fuses at the correct voltage and current or use electromagnetic breakers that are not voltage dependent.
Compare crimping, NAPA crimped with special tool and mil spec.
Assurance of quality from the counter salesman was "That ain't going nowhere". They will be installed, but I'm not terribly happy with them.

You may have injector issues Joel, pull one and have it checked for spray pattern etc.
Bypassing the FDC will increase your fuel delivery. Look for previous posts for amount of adjustment, not sure, 1/2 to 1 turn?
I like my set, it's "real", it lets me add more radios and other authentic toys.
BTW, did you clean off these contacts? They get tarnished from non-use over the decades, a pencil erasor does a fine job.

Well Joel the valve is an aircraft fuel shut-off valve (Valcor 5000 series) and it's something I have had for years, but you can use any kind, just about.
The original LDS engines had two valves, one in the "to" and one in the "from" line.

Take a sample of a fuel line that you don't use, like the one to the flame heater and let it soak in the thinner, look for any effects on a daily basis.

The VIC-1 system is not reverse polarity protected and the TM says to use the MX-7777 with it. A careless installer can blow the amplifier in a hurry.
