Kenny, there are tables that will tell you how much amp capacity a given size wire will carry, so 16G is good for 18 amps and 14G is good for 25 amps.
You shouldn't have any problems unless you mount some BIG lights somewhere and then you can install relays to handle the heavy currents.
Re: RE: Re: Fuel pump question on my 2 1/2
Obviously, the extra fuel does not flow through the entire injector, however a substantial amount of heat is transferred via the extra fuel returned to the tank, even if it's only from the upper portion of the injector, it helps cool the entire...
Looking at hydraulic oils, we have a whole new world to explore. :-)
Anti-wear properties....proper lubrication of the pump....
Sold my supply of Dexron to the local shop here for less than half price, he was happy and I'm now looking for some 10 weight hydraulic oil. That will be for the...
I should have one somewhere. Let me check and I'll get back with you.
(the one pictured above is 1/4 inch and not the right size).
Found one.....PM sent.
If this is the spring, I can see how you may have lost it. This is from a spare valve and I'd like to keep it. Hope the image will help you.
Ross, I may be up for some horn button parts when I get to it, I'm sure some internals are missing, got the rubber part, though.
Drawing the star is a geometric construction, go ogling and you'll get lots of hits, for example.

That's how I'll be making a few stencils also.
Thanks Matt.
It's kind of like building a house and living in it before it's finished....you get used to the unfinished parts and the house never gets finished.
I'm trying not to jump ahead and start driving the thing before it's finished, so I keep it on blocks...he he he.
I suspect that if little or no flexing is involved, the phasing is less important.
The drive shaft on the xm757 from the transmission to the transfer case is phased incorrectly and must have been so for years.
A formula showing vibrations as a function of the angle can probably easily be found.
Found another note supporting the SAE 10W viscosity oil for the steering system (not the steering gear).
The oil specified for the hydraulic crane is SAE 10W also, but since it hasn't been in stock locally, I have always used 30W hydraulic oil.
Gotto find some 10W hydraulic oil it seems.
Much appreciated!
To me it would make sense to have a much higher capacity compressor on board to go with this feature. I believe the standard one is like 7 to 10 cfm.
