Did a quick scan of the Spicer site. No mention of why the slip is a the driven end. Interesting reading.

CGarbee, a couple of zerks are like that on mine too. I have an 18" long flex hose on my gun. Works reel good.
Check the fuel pressure at the filters. Should be 65-70 PSI. If not, pos. sucking air, pos. gear pump at the bottom of the IP, or, a nozzle putting compression back into the pump.

I remember seeing a post that showed a bunch of them in maybe 3' X 3' crunched up squares. The only way you could tell what they were was by the wheel! Ya know, this just makes me want it more. :wink:
And when you put it back on, just go to Home Defect/lLowes/Ace or another hardware store and get a 1/2 dense foam weatherstrip with a peel away adhesive backing and stick it to the top before you put it down on the truck.

I have seen no welds, but, after reading on these and finding they were cut for the demil process, I guess I should look closley. Where was the "favorite" place to chop these bodies?

Les, first off, sorry you're a Ford guy :wink: . Just kidding! I don't think epoxy will work for you. Diesel has a bad habbit of getting through everything, so the bottom of the pump will most likely need to be removed. Don't how to do it, I have never had a pump off or apart. Maybe...
just read the post by papercu. I have run across a 151, but I have no idea what is is worth or going for. It is much straighter than the one in the "M151A2 For Sale" thread...no offence papercu, has a hard top with a dent in the center, don't remember seeing an air filter/housing, tires look...
quarkz, That's lotz o miles! Drive safe, the winds have been unusually strong out here thru CA, AZ and UT. A friend of mine rolled his truck and 40' 5th wheel on the 15 last week. Keep us posted.
