Just ad half the diameter of the tire to your axle to axle measurement. (what size tires? just a guess but its going to be somewhere between 22" and 24" additional lenght)
:ditto: Pull the converter, put in a new seal. make sure you dont dump out the fluid from the TC. When you put the TC back on the trans you have to slowly spin it while putting slight pressure on it and you will feel it "sink" into place. If you dont and its sitting "ontop" of the pump rather...
Normaly I would agree with this. But in my younger years doing it the hardway was how I learned to turn a wrench. I am by no means a shop mech. but I can hold my own when it comes to working on my own stuff because of the stuff I learned by just tearing into it. Live and learn
The flexplate stays with the engine, its bolted to the crank. The TC is bolted to the flexplate. Spin the crank a little at a time to get to each of the TC bolts. Unbolt them and the trans will slide back from the engine leaving the TC with the trans and the FP on the engine

That sounds like a question for your DOT. I would think that if they allowed ATF as an additive and you got dipped and fined you'd have to get a lawyer and have them send the sample the cop took to alab and prove the red dye tracer was not in the fuel. You might get the fine dropped but then...
I know why it happens. It has to do with one word, that is in the name of the company. Thats all I'm saying. They have crappy customer service because they know they are the only game in town.
MWMULES, If you need a ground rod I have 3 4' rods with a built in slide hammer that I picked up from Glens back when he got all those fuel pod trailers in.
Both answers are correct. They hold the windshield down when its folded and you should have a rod with a loop on the end bolted to the cowl right in front of the drivers windshield. When you raise the hood you take that rod and hook it to the spring latch on the hood to keep it from knocking you...
