David. You need to ad your State to your location. Site rules. And yes the crank handle engages the little rollpin that sticks out the side of the landing gear near the top. You can get a set of pliers and just spin that pin to raise and lower the leg. If I can remember Ill get a picture of...
I liked the old classifieds. They didn't show up on the "new posts" list and there wasn't near as much general discussion in the threads. Just make a rule that there should be no discussion in the classified ad forums, just pm's between seller and interested buyers or if someone has a wtb or...
Did it have a data plate on the front frame/tongue rail? I'm betting that it was a standard 101 that had the bed replaced at some point with a 101a1 bed. The data plate on the frame would have said something like M116 a1, a2, or a3. The trailer/chassis is really a M116. When a bed is added to...
I was pulling my trailer this morning and this thread popped into my mind. Why not scrounge around for some used side racks and scavenge the "stakes" off of them. The correct size already, can cut them down to length with simple hand tools and you can weld to them. Check with Glen, ( 91W350...
At some point in time somebody in charge sat back and thought about it.
When was the last time, out in the field in combat, did someone run out of fuel and actually have enough "other fuel" on hand to fuel up and move a convoy. If a single vehicle gets lost on it's own and runs out of fuel...
Thats why I said what I said. Who knows what pvt numbnuts did to that trailer when it was in the shop. Whether he painted the right color on the glad hand (or simply installed the right color) or put a new valve under the trailer and paid no attention to which way it was supposed to be hooked...
Climb under your trailer and trace the hoses back to the valve. It should be labeled service on one port and emergency on the other. Hook them to your truck accordingly.
Or we could all just ignore the next person that asks and force them to either ask and ask and ask and when they get no answer they might finally try to search out the answer the old fashioned way, thru research.
Did you instruct them to put a 12v starter? If they took it upon themselves to just put in a new starter I would take it back and make them replace it with the correct one.
Wonder if I can hold the guy in the YouTube video liable when I break folding bracket on my trailer and lose control of it going down the highway and kill a minivan full of kids?
Hpwr, if you have a 101 and use it in that manner it will break. It's been proven on this site. If you want to use...
It sounds like the OP is the owner and his employees have the truck at a job site and that's where the problem started. They called the boss and he got on here looking for help.
no matter what it is its going to take someone getting up under the dash looking for burnt/chaffed wires. Unless as...
Ok before this gets to muddled with the humorus "results" and then the OP (and anyone else doing a search) gets confused to what it really is, Yes Gimpy is correct. Itsthe mount for the leg of the Gun ring. Almost all deuces and 809 5tons have them reguardless of wether or not the truck ever...
