The media used to mask for sandblasting is rubber. Sandblasting will not hurt rubber, in fact, if the rubber is old and dingy looking, it will probably make it look better.

We have both and the one with the small wheels and the crank is a lot easier to hook up.

Have you priced the new window channels? I was going to replace mine until I priced them. I can't believe they cost that much. I may just have to live with some loose windows.
