Ive ran a CB off one battery since I got the deuce home last year. I have yellow top Optima deep cycle batteries in there (expensive) and have only had them go dead one time (left the panel lights on) Its just a stock barefoot radio so there is no heavy draw. If i get 2 years out of these same...

It was all the fat birds you've been feeding for years..they all landed on the branch at the same time LOL  ....glad it didnt do any serious damage. And add this to that "uses for deuces" thread[thumbzup]

...Well before anyone else starts in, Ill go ahead and say it. The search button is your friend. Most of these questions have been brought up, debated, answered, etc at some point in the forums. That being said, all I can say is, Im in the same boat as you lol...not much knowledge about these...

Agreed...Taji did have a crapload of derelict russian equipment and some of it was pretty neat looking. I remember once at Fort Irwin here in CA at the NTC (pre- 9/11), we were out in the box, on a jump-site apart from the main BSA. We were holed up in a watie or a wash or whatever you call them...

I think the block for the fuel lines your refferring too is bolted to the compressor via some sort of spacer rod. In post #3 by diesel bob, the first pic is like a top down view of it and you can see where its affixed. 2nd pic is a different angle. If those dont help, i will look when i get home...
In the 3rd pic, what is that gauge at the bottom of the dash under the Inst. cluster? Also, Interesting looking frame attachment there in the 6th pic...is that part of the "house mover" thing? All in all, with a little TLC, both these rigs look like they could be very nice indeed.
I havent done much lately...been formulating, locating, measuring and trying to get $$$ to start the major parts of my build....so i decided to tinker a little. This is NOT permanent, and I know its not the right paint etc...so that being said i was just taping off and painting to see what i...
...Im thinking i might want to rebuild my turbo now too...mine is only a few months older then yours according to the date stamped on the intake housing and my Exhaust side looks nothing like this...mine fins and inside the housing are completely coated with soot...might do it some good to clean...
I use FEDLOG at work, and when you enter an NSN or NIIN, etc, usually in the reference section it lists and end use code, most the time the stuff i research simply says 2.5 ton truck 6x6 and nothing more. There is a section in there to use as a cross reference for like-materials but it also...
