Sadly...I havent done all that much lately...I still need materials to work on it...steel mostly. I did put a nice red line on my tach today though, so at least its not just sitting there neglected lol.
Fixed that..thanks. I shall try searching with that too. As you said above I know theres been many issues with search and new thread deal...I really try to search before i post. Im 100% with you on this
Yes, I know there should be a good baseline to start on with these things, and I...
...yah i tried searching for oil analysis several different ways. It brought up nothing. No results. Im all for the search button DH, but everytime I do it, it never brings up what I need. Thats why i started this thread.
Oil Sampling and analysis.
Taking oil samples and having it analyzed by a laboratory.
Has anyone here ever done this? I want to give a sample of my engine oil to a lab and have it analyzed to see if theres anything going wrong inside the motor without having to tear it apart to look. I think...
Its really not that hard. I did a simple rebuild of my 3053a not too long ago and wasnt nearly as hard as I thought it would be. Jatonka's website has the rebuild manual for the trans. and it is pretty thorough and has decent diagrams explaining it. Plus at eriks military surplus dot com, you...

Im with DUG on this....In my opinion though, I think its all relative. You easterners and southerners talk smack about Cali because of what you see on TV etc...same goes for us...Ive never lived back that a ways so I dont have much to say about y'alls state. I was born here and raised here (in a...
[thumbzup] good looking truck....they do look sinister flat black....mine is black right now and it looks pretty slick. Although it will be making a transistion back to OD green soon...but itll still look menacing ;-)
Are you reffering to the reverse idler gear spool? I dont know if you can buy a new one of those. Might be able to get one from someone around here. A lot of guys around here will probably just tell you to go buy a GRTO for 150 and swap it. Its easier that way, and probably cheaper. I just got...
and on the same lines...dont forget to take your coffee can off the stack when you start it while parked next to your newer car....(did that today...only a slight ding in the roof of the car)
Welcome ss_storm and yarry23...
