I have a 1:16 scale RC Tiger tank, but it is not for sale. So I do not need to put a pic here. I'm happy I have it, for it is not available any more. It is an over 25 year old Banday kit which I modified a little bit for RC some 24 years ago.

The starter is replaced by a new idem, the starter of the 6.5 l Diesel. The old starter at least new is not6 available any more. Theoretically the "new" starter shall fir without modifications as a replacement for the old on Shiming is no more required.

If you want to get some infos about what is available try to contact Oliver Barnham, HSBC, Honkong. The actual adress I do not know, neighter e-mail. He is the expert of these vehicles beeing in service in the far east. If you want to know, what was there, ask him. Other source is Yasuo Ohtsuka...
Hey guys,
never trust a batterie over 5 years old. Warranty is something like 2 years, maximum 3 years. Somtimes you find batteries with 5 years warranty. Over that age never trust them!

It took me some 20 minutes to read me through all these posts about a M105 trailer behind a Jeep Wrangler.
To make a summery of that, hoodiegadoo, the Jeep wrangler is designed for 500 lbs unbraked and 2000 lbs braked trailer weigth.
If you want to pull a M105, you MUST install a air supply...
I like to add this, maybe some people do not like to hear / read this.
It is about the live time of V-belts.
I found out (the hard, expensive way) that the alt mounts as stock are not the very best for alinement. For the left alt I had to cut the mount and move it about 5 mm forward and change...
It is not related to who founded the system, it is the base of the ISO system. And this is used almost anywhere in the world, not only all over Europe, also in most of the countrys of Africa, in China and Japan and South America. The US has a population of about 250 million people, the EU about...
And MB Jeeps with 24 volt equipement by Mitsubish are also original, modified for Korea. Refer hereto to Yasuo Ohtsuka, Jeeps over the Pacific, published 1994, 8, 10 by Hobby Japan.
To my knowledge Yasuo Otsuka is the best knowing MV vehicle collector and expert in far east. I meet him in 1991...
I do not understand your problems, it is a standard M12 bolt of a lenght I forgot (something about 160 mm), a mass production part here in Europe, quality 8.8.
The 6.2 l Diesel is the first full metric engine ever designed in the US and you guys have to get used to the metric system which was...
Change the relais, the controler to a less than 15 year old one and hope that you did not blow the glow plugs beforehand.
Good luck!

The diode plate is a spare part for the alt, should be at least available at the dealership of GM or at autoparts, automotive parts or NAPA parts, if they still have these old parts in the program.
Tecnically, the diode plate cuts down the alternating voltage of your altinator, which produces...
Hotchkiss is French and was a famouse gun maker beside the licence holder for the Willys MB untill 1968, known as Hotchkiss M201 licence Willys MB. Later the company was named Hotchkiss Brand and made very famous motars of 120 mm in Europe (leading brand for this type of artillery).
So if it...
OK, guys,
lets look a little bit back into history.
In the 50's and 60's the stencil on the tanks was simply: DO NOT FILL ABOVE THIS LINE.
In the mid 70 this stencil was added by the remark: ALLOW FOR EXPENSI0N.
This was due to the change of the US-Army from a drafty Army to a voluntary Army...
Sorry, may be I'm stupid. I drove a CUCV truck 16 years. But what do you mean with a CDR valve? I think I know almost any valve in these trucks, at least their function. May be I know that valve in German, but the abriviation I do not know.

The regulators are mass production AC Delco parts and found in any GM used alts of that time. So it should be possible at the dealership to find the propper regulator. But do not forget the change the diode plate. If the regulator fails, the diode plate needs to be replaced as well according our...
Hey, the scale measure looks more like 63.5 mm. 57 mm would be 2.244 inches. But I have no idea what gun that should be. From the calibre that sounds like a Navy gun. However, I can not find anything about that calibre in my books...
Sorry. I'm limited.

The alts have a power output of max. 1.4 kW (1.9 hp). This is something. If the belt tension is low, they make noise. So check the tesion of your V-belts or better just replace them.
