so what if for now we just put in valve cores on each tire were the ctis hose goes on . then fill them up to the 80-90 psi range and reinstall the hose to keep crap out of the system . then unplug the electrical connector on the control box at shifter tower .

I have a factory spicer dana 60 gasket installed on a 100% clean / dry / no oil yet axle . thick factory cover and flat checked .
the gasket leaks 80-90 oil out it and the axle has never been put in service .
just go get a tube of permatex rightstuff in the cheese wis can and never look back .
if trans fluid is red on dip stick and not pink then your prob good to go .
but axles / tcase / wheel bearings in the front for sure i would pull/ clean as needed and repack or swap in new fluids .

I would skip the tube style pan out of metal in the rust belt . . . . winter time would eat it up ! ! !
get a cast aluminum pan for the extra capacity and it also helps stiffen the case.

I remade the rear most crossmember and fabbed my own up for the front .
this was for a 31 gal blazer tanks . blazer tanks are same size except hang down a tad more for the extra capacity .
