    6Tl Battery advice please

For what it's worth, in looking at batteries for off grid systems, the flooded batteries have longer lives than AGM. Either way, long life depends on proper maintenance.

Can a Deuce to tow a Deuce on a trailer without a CDL ? Yes.

Based on this http://www.cvsa.org/programs/documents/nas/2012/2012-04%20Hydraulic%20Brake%20System%20Inspection%20Procedures%20Created%2004-26-12.pdf the deuce doesn't have "air over hydraulic" brakes.

    Stuck injection pump shutoff arm

I have a few spare engines that I had neglected for a couple of years and wanted to get running again. One had a stuck shutoff arm. I ended up swapping one from a spare pump but even some of the spares were stuck. I had zero luck with applying penetrating oil over a period of several days...

The MAN chamber is designed for the fuel to be tangentially injected into the cup. I have to believe both used the same injector; but I don't know.

There are better, modern head gaskets available from a SS member. Can't think of his name but I'm sure someone will post it shortly or you can do a search.

Agree completely. Easier loading/ unloading and lower center of gravity.

Weight carrying capacity of a bobbed deuce!?!

I took my truck in person and explained what I had done. None of the three agents with whom I met had ANY problems with the truck. The county office had NO problem with it; they only care if you add an axle.

Get a blanket liability policy if you are afraid to leave the house.

Weight carrying capacity of a bobbed deuce!?!

So, you are claiming that there is DOT language specifically indicating this? Care to post a link? A previous post indicated that there is 7k lbs on the front axle. My bobbed deuce weights 10k; therefore, there is 3k on the rear axle. Run the math on the remaining capacity for the rear axle.

Insurance companies who don't understand what they are insuring will give you an answer like that. Find someone else.
