Could that be the thermistat housing at the bottom left of this pic right next to the top radiator hose, and forward of the cold start heater?

Unfortunatly I don't know where the thermostat is. I did some searching, but did not find any pics of where it might be.

This sounds a little more then what my deuce does. My deuce does not like to be topped off all the way up. It will spit up a little bit until it reaches the level it likes.

I don't know which type of trailer we are talking about, but if it is a M105 or a M101 it takes these metal bows as they are interchangeable between the two with moving some bolts. Woods ones should be interchangeable, but the wood has to be cut. There is one more version of the metal corner...

The SF97 threads back in 2006 do not apply anymore. Read the terms of service on GL that you probably just ignored. It talks all about obtaining the SF97 from GL. I am sure you can inspect it before the EUC is approved. Just call up the Mechanicsville site and say you want to visit to check...
