RE: fuel filter change
You can open the TM on from this site in PDF form. The are one the left side of this page under Technical Manuals. The CUCV one tells you step-by-step how to change your fuel filter and do many other things. I ended up just printing out the repair manual, and then...
Very nice. I love planes. I just wish it was not so expensive.
Seeing old war birds like this reminds me that we are letting our government scrap tomorrows historical planes and vehicles.
Well after many months of drooling over Bjorn's HIAB for his duece I finally got one of my own for my deuce. It is mounted on the same International Harvester flatbed from the Navy. It of course has a tag stating it is to be installed on a M35A2C. Unfortunately this one needs and overhaul as...
Well usually when it is "happy" it is at the bottom of the elbow looking into the radiator cap. Perhaps the 1/2 gallon you thought you saw was not quite that much. I hope you can get the parts you need to get your temp. gauge working. Oh and yes you will think that the heater is stuck on in...
This sounds a little more then what my deuce does. My deuce does not like to be topped off all the way up. It will spit up a little bit until it reaches the level it likes.
Two days is a long time for an auction, but in my experience the longer an auction is the better the chances for a deal. When I used to attend a bunch of industrial auctions I was in for the marathon, and it payed of usually. Those cement floors hurt after standing on them all day, and I...

Is there a military 1963 Studebaker? If not then this is not going to have buzzers and such probably like our trucks have. Other things are probably different too.
RE: Re: RE: Received My Metal Bow Corners
I think I remember someone talking about using wood for the stubby leg. I can't see why it would not work. I have a pile of defective bow corners that I MIGHT be able to find a set of metal stubby legs for the woods ones. I will check tomorrow, but...
I don't know which type of trailer we are talking about, but if it is a M105 or a M101 it takes these metal bows as they are interchangeable between the two with moving some bolts. Woods ones should be interchangeable, but the wood has to be cut. There is one more version of the metal corner...
Re: RE: lds 427-2 runs on silicone but not diesel
Ok that makes sense...finally... So the engine is running on the solvent in the silicone spray. Probably a fuel problem.
The SF97 threads back in 2006 do not apply anymore. Read the terms of service on GL that you probably just ignored. It talks all about obtaining the SF97 from GL. I am sure you can inspect it before the EUC is approved. Just call up the Mechanicsville site and say you want to visit to check...
RE: Re: Headphones recommendations while driving Duece
I think that I can hear things like horns and sirens better with hearing protection as my attention is not overtaken by a loud background noise like exhaust. A siren is a very distinct sound that is designed to get attention, and as such I...
