Two different wiring hookups for in tank fuel pumps?

Here are two pics of in-tank pumps. One has a plug for the electrical hookup and the other has what looks to be a permanent connection that is dimpled to retain it. Anyone know if the dimpled one comes apart without destroying the connection and can be put back together? or go into a replacement...

    Thanks to AMGeneral

Want to let you guys know what you probably already know and that is that AMGeneral is a very straight shooter. Bought the tool trailer from him sight unseen with only verbal description and a few pics. He described it very well. As good or better than I hoped for, especially the frame and...

    Discolored/shellaced(?) gas

My friend in town that owns a auto salvage yard pulls and drains many of the fuel tanks off vehicles that come in. He saves any fuel that looks reasonably fresh for himself. Any that looks as though it has "gone by", he stores in barrels and has to pay to get rid of. Well, he offered it to me if...

    NJ wrecker in NH

    ammeter

Anyone have an ammeter installed in your Deuce? Personally, I think it is a better indicator of whats going on with the electrical system than just the charge meter. Lets you know the condition of the batteries better and how quickly they are coming back to full charge etc. Any thoughts? Thanks, BC

    Medium tow bar feet ?

If one drills out a set of med. tow bar feet with the 3/4 inch hole to 1", is there as much material left as on a set originally made with the 1" hole? I'm thinking there is but just want to make sure. In other words, are the feet the same except for the hole? May have found some 3/4's not to...
