So whats wrong with the OEM brakes? Will they lock the tires? Pinion brakes are not a good plan. Not to mention that they require significantly more fluid pressure to provide the same brake force. Back to having to balance the system. Upgrading to a dual circuit is a better safety approach.

M54-A2 consumes fronts at the same rate, just you are starting with 11:00-20's.

A agree, about 5000 miles is the life of fronts (all the life) and 10,000 on the rears. This is assuming proper alignment.
