With that, I am off to bed.... I will look at the photos tomorrow, wonder if Elmo caught that chicken again? If he did, I am sure we will have photo evidence soon... stand by for the peep show...
 Glad that all is well, Glen
Still wish I could have snagged that intake mushroom! It is always nice to be able to help out folks passing through. I get to meet some great people! Glen
My patience wore thin and I called him. He and that stinky old opossum are safe and sound. He said Elmo is done too, a little BBQ sauce and he would be edible. It was good news... Glen
It was 105 degrees when he left here. When he pulled in he said he was cooked, done... He should be able to drink quarts and still sleep the night away.....
He made some comment about Kansas, something along the lines of we have a lot of nothing with nothing in it. I think he was probably...
I'll bet he sent that durned opossum after you, then he grabbed a couple of, no one photo of you, he does not take time out for two photos, maybe a couple more around the place and he was making smoke. That man does not mess around....
Originally I was going to grill him steak and taters here, went and spent 96 dollars on ingredients... then the schedule was kind of advanced and he was definitely in a hurry. This morning I decided to take him to Chilipeppers, the Tuesday special is awesome! HE was kind of concerned about...
I led him into Salina to my little salvage yard, then to the restaurant, pointed him towards the highway and he slipped right out of town, no tickets, no nothing, I even bought him a sandwich. Elmo stayed in the truck while we went to eat though, there could be some Elmoettes in town soon...
Since you brought up pictures... I guess I better transfer a few over...
Elmo in the 915, the 915 and the deuce, Elmo-Wreckerman-deuce-915, Elmo looking for Buddy in the deuce, all he found was lots of dog hair and the back of the deuce and the 915. I think Elmo's reputation preceded him, Buddy...
The should be in Nebraska now. They left Salina making smoke northbound. They have some strange looking junk attached to the fifth wheel deck, looked like they might have hit a 105 trailer and stopped to pick up some salvage. Something about not letting anything go to waste....
Seriously, it...
I was not loving mine so much yesterday when two minivans boxed it in at work. I wound up using a wheel chock to limit my backwards roll while I made the 30 point zig zag back and forth to get out.
When I was a young man, I had a job working in a Griff's Burger Bar, anybody remember those...
I prefer mine with a full tank of fuel, oil pressure about 55 pounds, water temp below 180 and the black smoke rolling and some kind of dog for company..... Good brakes are nice too....
I took tomorrow off, if you need anything in Kansas, you have my number. Looking forward to meeting you......we better watch Elmo, I doubt Bud or Sir are going to tolerate his devious little tricks very well. If the M915 lays down on you, at least we can scurry out and take photos. 8)
It is a tough market and you never know who you can trust. I had a 48 CJ2A a pair of 73 CJ5s and a fleet of Land Cruisers. I played with several M715s...... none of them have the deuce charm. Get a good one and you will love it! I cannot get over how easy they are to work on. Just bigger.... Glen
