Yea the 1969 date showed up when the server was switched over. I lost the rank at that time too. Although my M35 won't do 88MPH And i'm glad it won't. It's all i can do to hold it in 3 lanes at 55MPH.
I also saw the 60MIN show on the GOV and his coal. I think it's a great idea. It won't...
I'm studying a method for pumping the gas into a propane tank. Then powering the engine from that at a later time. Generating gas while doing other tasks in the yard and then using it during the week sound more resonable to me. But i need to get a day off first!. Even if i can't produce enough...
I found a lot of info on building and operating one. FEMA of all people put out the best manual. But i never found any info on what gas was produced. Thanks bjorn! I was also reading about the fischer-tropsch method to convert coal and shale to syn diesel. Germany did it during the war because...
At 60% i bet your injector nozzles stay pretty clean. It's great you have a fuel source, I bet fuel prices are outrageous over there. It changes with the price of fuel, but i mix used motor oil and diesel in mine. I do have to change the fuel filters often but they are cheeper than running...
I'm looking for the rod journal dia for a LDS 465 1A. I found the dia for the 427 in TM 9-2815-204-35. The TM shows 2.977 to 2.976 for the 427. Are the crankshafts the same? Thanks,
Kenny, I got a hand throttle cable from boyce equipment about a year ago. It looked just like the orginal and still works great. I use the lock on it all the time when running air tools off the truck.
I rebuilt my front end last may. The king bushings are mounted in the knuckles. If you look on top and bottom of the knuckles you will see 4 bolts . These bolts hold the bushings. I strongly sudjest you remove the hubs, spindles and brake backing plates. It's a lot easier to move the knuckles...
I've turned up a few trucks, And none of them were the same amount. Each engine will respond a little different. For instance if yours is higher milage or hours then it will have more blow by and not respond as well. If your engine has seen a lot of dirty fuel and the turbo is fouled then it...
I just figured out why everybody is getting such poor milage. Your trucks are overloaded with spare parts! Sorry i couldn't resist. I think the best thing is to make sure you truck is in good shape before you leave. If not, don't go. I've been able to count on mine to get me home even when...
Thanks guys, I'll check #6 first. I forgot to mention it was 3 gallons low on oil before i started it. I installed a manual guage and it was holding 75psi while running.
I carry a 4x4 block of wood to drive up on when i have a outside dual flat.
it keeps me from jacking it up to change the outside tire. I run my 3/4 drive impact for lugnuts. And as much used oil as i burn i keep spare fuel filters under the seat. I keep at least 2 jerry cans full of fuel...
Bad news for the tractor. It has a knock that i thought was a diesel knock when fuel is puddling on the pistons. But after running it yesterday i'm convenced it's internal. Getting under the truck it sure sounds like a rod. I think i lost the injector pump also. I've got no throttle responce...
Having riddin/ driven a few miles in DR's storm i can atest to the car like cab noise level. It's low enough to hear your self think.
But wick hit the nail on the head. I'd hate to see DR's cell bill.
Sorry dude, I couldn't help it!
BTW DR, i should have some cab insulation cut for you soon.
Mercy! My wish bone is killing ME!! I was planning on a DL for the middle axle, but if ARB starts making them, I'm good for 3. The off road capibility will be like night and day. Kenny, does white owl have a lot of these?
I've been watching them on GL, But so far they are all in CA. I don't have a problem going on a road trip, But i'd like to stay with in 1200 miles of home. I'm mainly planning to use it for parade's and display's.
