Umm, zombie thread, he posted it last year... LOL
He did bring it home, it does have the 'porch' on the back, and it does look cool in parades... LOL

I hate double posting, but I need to make a decision in the next 24 hours on what I'm going to do.
I won a 1031 at Sierra that for whatever reason GL didn't put an EUC on so now I'm scrambling to get it moved. My budget won't allow shipment, so I either need it moved off the base so I can plan...
Do the POA route. He should be able to get it notarized by one of the court clerks inside the jail and provide it to you, then you can handle everything with the DMV without the worry that he will not return the title to you when it's clear.
Another route you might be able to take through the...
I'm hoping someone in Reno can hook me up... :)
The only alternative for me is to leave Wed night and drive out there solo in order to be back by Sat night.

Did the rebuilder make sure that the ground was still isolated in the alternator when he rebuilt it?
That's all I can think of without seeing it.

I won a 1031 from GL last week and now need to get it off the base by the 17th since for whatever reason there's no EUC.
Is there anyone who could get it off of Sierra and hold it until I can get something planned to come get it, I would REALLY appreciate it. Would probably need no more than a...
Yes, I installed it and then used the bleeder kit to get the air out. Then I put the lines on and tried to bleed it and got nothing at the wheels.

I'm having a brake problem with my 1009. When I got it, it didn't have a master cylinder on it (long story short, it was a residue truck) and I'm almost ready to put it on the road. I don't know how long the master was off, but I put a new one on and the brakes won't bleed. No matter how much I...
On my 1009, the little cube relay under the dash for the voltmeter was dead. If you reach under the dash to the steering wheel side of the diagnostic plug, there are three relays, a rectangular one (the starter relay) and two cube ones. The two cube ones are just standard Bosch relays and are...
$380 from a Stanadyne approved shop sounds like an excellent price to me. I might have to ship my spare pump out there for him to go through.

Won't stay running could be a fuel problem, but most likely the batteries are completely dead and it shuts down as soon as the slave cable is removed.

You can probably adjust the play out of the box, but unless you have done it before, see if you can find someone who has to do it for you. The set screw on top of the box is there to adjust the slop out of the gears, but unless you follow the EXACT procedure in the TM/ GM Service Manual, you...
I am getting to the point where I'm changing over the Sub from 6 to 8 lugs and wanted some opinions on wheels.
I want to run 33x12.5 16s on something military looking so I'm guessing my only option to get something wide enough to run that tire without sucking the sidewall in is to have Stockton...
Is it white smoke or blue smoke? It could be a head gasket if white smoke...
An easy way to check injectors or locate problem cylinders is to get an infrared thermometer and check each exhaust port, if you see a drop in temperature on one port, then that is your problem cylinder.
