Your engine still has the Cummins emblem on it. Those are usually stripped off by the time the truck get to auction. The rest of the truck is awesome too, good score! Let us know how she runs when you get a chance!

That has got to hurt to see those numbers come up. Good luck on getting her repaired...or the engine replaced like Rayzer suggested!

There is one here in North Florida that is for sale with very low miles, repainted tan by uncle sugar, that the owner wants a paltry $12,500.00 for. Its a nice truck, but the price is wayyyyyyyy out there. GL auctions have gone for $6500 to $7500 depending on the shape & whose bidding on it...

This is the Duece that I am trying to purchase now. It has a few problems that are getting ironed out in the next week or so. What do you guys think?

Are you using a good quality DVM or just a cheapie? The cheapies might work okay for some things, but you need concrete info to keep from damaging your batteries or worse!

I agree with rusty stud, those spring pieces look like oil seal springs more than anything else. Possibly, one of the Army mechanics lost the spring while changing out an oil seal! Better than a liner chunk!
