    5 Ton Bump Start

If you are talking about the cummins engine, it takes a little cranking to get them fired up.

Ring Gear Inspection: How to rotate the engine?

Just because it's worth repeating over and over.

    5 Ton Bump Start

That's one of the things I didn't know until I came to this site. When I learned about it, I did an experiment. I parked on a steep hill, in gear, and dropped the brake to see if it would start. The engine was warm and it rolled less than a foot when it started up. Now, I park out of gear...

    Need flatbedding in Kentucky

That's a good point. We hauled our M35A2s on a low-boy semi trailer, and it was close, but low enough. We were going to haul them on a Landall (A roll back, flat bed semi trailer) and it was going to be to tall.

    Need flatbedding in Kentucky

Greetings from a former Berean, If this is a GL ( Government Liquidators ) Auction, you will probably have a month or two to arrange shipping, while you wait for the EUC to clear.

Do you think Mr. Murphy's life is as miserable as he makes everyone else's?

Almost time to bring them home

My first thought was "Swiss Army Knife" The Swiss Army Knife with the shopping cart blade is pretty rare I think.

Dedication, or another symptom of a serious OD addiction? :???:

4 battery coversion to 2 batteries

We did the same. We also put them in one box. I'm not sure what to do with the other box, I might make a cover for it, clean out any acid residue, and store the jack in it. It's a shame to waste the space.

4 battery coversion to 2 batteries

It would be the same as a deuce. We did the same thing to our XM817, and have had trouble starting it when it's below 15 degrees. Other than then, it's been just fine. I don't have a pic handy, but if you still would like to see one in the morning, I'll go out and take it.

GL says my accnt and my Dads are Duplicate Accounts!!!

I totally agree. I don't know how you feel, but I feel my name and reputation are everything. If I were put on a black list because of something I didn't do, I would do anything and everything to clear my name.

GL says my accnt and my Dads are Duplicate Accounts!!!

I wonder if there isn't a little bit of slander in there too. They are saying that YOU are not qualified to buy from them.

Here we go again... *won't start*

Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning fixes everything. Boiled, baked, fried, it's all good.

The Bigg Green Triple AAA rides again

I like our deuce, but I really like our dump truck. Nice acquisition, and it already has crops growing in the back.

    truly the ultimate suv

OK, it's cute in a "look how much money I've got" kind of way. If I were going to spend that much, I'd rather have a HEMTT. Actually, I'm waiting for JONES to start mass production of the baby HEMTT.
  16. mckeeranger

Work on the baby HEMTT grinds to a start.

This thing is just full of cool fabrication. How close is it to "drivable"? (tired of that question yet?) And why did you bother keeping the serial number exposed? Do you really think you can convince anyone it's "just" an M35, even with the VIN? ;)

FINALLY got plates, and a cautionary tale.

Kentucky does not have front plates.

FINALLY got plates, and a cautionary tale.

I lost my alternator/fan belts a few weeks ago, and had a slight boil-over before I shut it down. Some antifreeze got in that crater in the top of the air pump and is still there. One of the properties of antifreeze is it doesn't evaporate very fast. If it's in one of those crevasses, you might...
