Glow plugs must be working...put a meter on the relay 24V output and read it inside the cab. I think most folks are using the AC60 G now...With no wait light it would appear that there is a problem with your card or the bulb
You have plenty of time to get the manuals and study them in bed for a month or so... Go look at other deuces in your area...Brakes are usually down...Dot5 is $40 a gallon....Diesel is $3 a gallon etc... take two new batteries with you... Registration, insurance and someone to help you carry...

On the M105 he probably has the flat stock type tiedown anchors... two wraps and a couple half hitches should keep the ropes on them...most important to go around and retighten after a few miles.
Welcome... Deuces are trucks and need to be treated as such... Get the manuals and study them... Don't try to outdrive the brakes...and by all means don't play Army and get into trouble...much entertainment can be had with any MV
You must check the laws for your state... Do you want Antique Plates, Commercial Plates, Special Plates, ...etc? You need insurance, I assume in Nevada. will you be interstate or intrastate commercially... Will you gross over 26000 lbs or have a trailer over 10000 lbs and the list goes on.

Maybe your new relay is quieter... you should see the glow plug actuation as a lower reading on your Voltmeter... I sure hope you thanked your neighbor for all the trouble.
If you want you can purge the whole system and rinse with alcohol and blow out with dry compressed air and refill with Dot 3. The system was designed in 1949 to use Dot 3 and the conversion to Dot 5 Army wide was a rather recent event...like within the last 20 years...The fluid is called BFS in...
